The Vermont MTEC Program

The Vermont MTEC program provides qualified Vermonters with the opportunity to be educated and trained for home-based employment in the field of medical transcription (MT). The program was developed in partnership with industry, state government and a number of Vermont colleges.

The Vermont MTEC program will provide Vermonters with a unique opportunity to enter a rapidly growing MT career with above average earning potential. Each education session consists of no more than 20 students.

Employees work out of their own homes with equipment provided by Fletcher Allen.
